Charlotte St. Patrick’s Day 2012 Outreach
On Saturday, March 17, 2012 Charlotte will be hosting its annual St. Patrick’s Day parade. Last year this event attracted over 60,000 people, and this year they are predicting even more people which will be a great opportunity to share the glorious news of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Parade begins at 11:00 AM, with the St Patrick’s Day Festival hours from 10 AM – 6:30 PM. For additional information regarding this event, please visit: http://www.charlottestpatsday.com
This event will be a great opportunity for every believer to get involved in fulfilling the Great Commission as the day will be packed with one-2-one witnessing, tract distribution, and open-air preaching. Due to the high volume of people and the cost for event parking, please meet at LYNX Scaleybark Transit Station located at 3750 South Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28209. Please be there at 10:30 AM for preparation and prayer, we will then depart at 11:00-11:30 AM and ride the transit to the 3rd Street Station and walk a couple blocks to our home-base destination at College St. and MLK Jr. Blvd. Weather permitting we will depart back to our vehicles between 5:00-5:30 PM.
Even if you can join us for a few hours, we would like for you to come out with us to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
